Note from Peggy:

Sarah and Benjamin had a son named William Adams; but the only William I could find in Miller County records was Dr. William H. Adams, a veterinarian, who with his wife and son, lived in north Iberia in the late 1930s and early 40s. He died in 1940 and was buried in the Iberia Cemetery, but his wife and son evidently moved elsewhere because no record of them was found in later records.

I was told by Eugene Keeth, before his death, that he remembered Dr. Adams. He said that one year he was at the Iberia Cemetery during a Memorial Day holiday and he became acquainted with a man who stated he was the son of Dr. Adams and had come to Iberia to visit his father’s grave.
