Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Pendleton Barr was born September 28, 1868 to Mr. Andrew David Pendleton and Mary Ellen Pendleton. She departed this life December 9, 1938, at 8:30 o'clock p.m. She was marred to Edmond Alexander Barr November 25the 1886 and to this union six children were born, two preceding her in death in their infancy, namely: Wiley Truman and Bertha Ellen.

Those left to mourn her death are: Husband, E.A. Barr; sons, William E. Barr, Iberia, Mo.; and Jesse A. Early in life she became a member of The Church of God and remained faithful to the end.

Mrs. Barr was dearly loved by all who knew her and her beautiful Christian life will continue to be a great influence and sweet memory in the lives of those she knew and had to leave behind. She was converted at the age of 18 years and later in life became a member of the Church of God and continued in the service of her Lord until death. Her testimony was, I'm trusting God's will be done.

"Like a ship that's left its mooring and sails bravely out to sea,
So someone Dear has sailed away in calm serenity;
But there's promise of greater joy than earth could have in store
For God has planned a richer life beyond the Unseen Shore."
