THANK YOU, FRIENDS....
Sunday, April 10, was one of the most exciting and memorable days of my life ----
The Miller County Historical Society bestowed on me a wonderful honor that overwhelmed me
with such love and praise from friends I have known and worked beside for 32 years
since the Society's beginning in April 1979.
Very few people are fortunate to experience an acknowledgment for a job that is pure joy and
a blessing----made possible wholly by God. I have so many friends who deserve this honor
more than I for their years of service preserving our county's local and family history and establishing the historical society and museum. Thank you so much for the memorial plaque, gift, and words of encouragement filled with love, praise and good wishes....
Very few times I have almost been speechless, but this definitely was one of those times
when I found out this was going to happen.

It's difficult to explain the feeling when you see your children, grandchildren, brother and
friends sitting there being a part of the most special day of one's life.... I didn't see them,
but felt the presence of my parents, grandparents, and all those fantastic ancestors
smiling down through the endless generations who made my life possible. God is good!!
