It's the St. Louis Cardinals so give th​em a hand.
The have the​ best of players that could ever be
If you don't believe me, just go to St. Louis and see.

They have play​​ers such as Stan Musial the great
With other players he really does rate​.
Someday he will be in the hall of fame
Because he helps win most every game.

The​​​​y belong to the National League Games
They are noted for all their fames.
Like in the All-Star​​ game they won
It ​was a Red Bird who knocked the winning run.

The​​y have great pitchers such as Al Brazle
When he pitches, he has the other team in a dazzle.
Other pitchers such as Howard Pollet ​and Max Lanier
Also keeps the other teams in misery and fear.

And who is any better than Marion for a short stop
For some of his baseball fans he is on top.
And Enos Slaughter the old war horse
Can an​yone out play him... No, of course!

They have the​​​ best of catchers like Garagiola and Del Rice
To bet on them is real good dice.
Bill Howerton is really good out i​​n center
He helps the Cardinals to always be the winner.​
